When you still have a chip at the tables, never quit. The late Jack "Treetop" Strauss' came from behind in the 1982 World Series of Poker. He entered a massive pot and puss all his chips in. He was called and soundly lost the hand. Gathering his Teacup, slippers and yo-yo, he was ready to leave when a $500 chip was found. A ruling was called that no allin was requested. He used that chip and went on an amazing run to take down the world title.
